We offer lessons for ages 3 and up in English/Hunter and Western riding.

---------------------------------------------------

Are the lessons offered year around ?

Yes, our lessons program runs year around. We also use rainy days for the theory lessons that are very important too.

----------------------------------------------

Do parents need to accompany children during lesson?

No, not unless you like too. We do always have trainers and lessons helpers to assist grooming and tacking, but younger students may need a little added help from the parents.

We also request if you leave during lessons that you will be back in time before lessons ends.

----------------------------------------------

Are helmets required during lessons?

Yes, helmets are always required when mounted on a horse regardless your age.

----------------------------------------------

What will my child or I learn during lessons?

Safety around the horse, grooming, saddling, riding, communication with the horse/pony, proper position and rhythm skills, steering, control and much more.

----------------------------------------------

Is it English/Hunter or Western ?

We start all students bare back with a vaulting girth, to learn how to balance, proper position and rhythm.  Later you or your child can decide to go English or Western. We offer both at the Farm

----------------------------------------------

How do I sign my child up or how can I get into the program?

Visit our scheduling page and schedule your personal intro lesson. We will hold your spot and write you down for the requested appointment. If you "no show, no call", you run the risk of losing your spot and/or being charged for that lesson. The expectation is that you attend your lesson weekly should you sign up for our subscription .
