Our Goal at Pony Gang Equestrian Services – Horse Riding School is to introduce you and your children to the wonderful world of horses or if you already ride, we’d like to teach you how to enjoy horses more, get along with your horse better and become a better Horseman/Horsewoman.
Before the fun always stays the work!
Our students will help get the horses/ponies from the pasture and tie them up. They will groom and tack up themselves. On the beginning our riding instructor will be there to teach the child how to do it and assist them in any way they need. But with time students are expected to do this all themselves and the instructor only checks the horse over when student enters arena.
Students ride depending on lesson between 30 to 45 Minutes.
Our Lessons are customized to the individual riding level of each student.
Beginners will always start on the lunge line. Which means the horse is being controlled by the instructor and the students can 100% concentrate on themselves. The students will stay in private lessons till they are able to walk/trot consistently on their own. After being able to do so, students can move on into our Group lessons or stay in private lesson.
Please note! Your first ride here at Pony Gang will always be an evaluation ride!
After care! .
After lessons our students will untack their horse and brush them over or give them a short base, before returning them to their pasture.
So, as a parent you should count approximately 60- 75 Minutes for a lessons day.

What is an Introducational / Evaluation ride?
The evaluation ride is the first ride at our facility, where the instructor will get a first impression of the rider’s skills and goals. We introduce the rider to the basics horsemanship and riding. The basics reviewed in the evaluation lesson will provide the foundation for the rider’s future progression plan. (Cost of a evaluation ride is $50 - $20 will go torch the first lessons month, should you sign up)
