Our Western riding lessons here at Pony Gang Equestrian Services in Camden, South Carolina offer you several different options to choose from. Each of our instructions is tailored to each individual rider.

We strive for the safety of our students first. Building a strong foundation in balance, seat and leg communication in the western saddle. Besides the different western riding styles we also teach good horsemanship on the ground, horse health and stable management to our western riding students.

Prices for Western Riding lessons

Our Western riding lessons prices are based on subscription packages that offer you the most value and the best opportunity to grow! Riding horses is like any other sport, the more you ride, the better you will be. 

 

The subscription packages include: 

- A guarantee of a spot in the same lessons slot (time and day) every week 

- Monthly Saturday Pony Gang Club meeting for all junior riders 

- Access to our Client only Facebook Group

- Quarterly Goal meeting

- Monthly video evaluation of rider

- Access to our Online Horsemanship course

 

Introductory Lesson

Our Introductory lesson is a one time "Meet & Greet" which we use for new students that never been at PGE before. We will get to know you and you get to know us. We talk about the students goals for the future as a Western rider and evaluate where students stands. 

Incl. introduction about us and our program, short evaluation riding lesson,  Q & A 

appr. 60 Minute

Tack up - Western Rider

This Western riding lesson program  is designed for beginner to advanced students ages 7 and up (Adults are welcome!!). Beginner riders learn how important a balanced and independent seat is. From there riders will learn how to ride independently in a sitting and rising jog and steer the horse pony through small obstacle courses and ride schooling figures by heart. 

After they have mastered the basics riders will learn to ride a variety of horses at the walk, jog and lope.

 

1 Western riding lesson a week per month

Giddy up -  Western Rider

This package is designed for western riders that are devoted to horseback riding and want to go on the fast track of learning how to ride in a balanced and independent seat as a beginner or get more riding time as an advanced rider.  Package is based on the same concept as our "Tack up - Western riders"-package, but student will take lessons twice a week instead of once a week.  

 

 

2 Western riding lessons a week per month* 

 

Price:   $ 300*



*Our packages is an automatic payment circle for your Riding Lessons Packages. No more thinking about payments or buying new lesson cards. Our system will take care of this automatically for you every month. The Subscription includes 4 lessons a month. If there are 5 lessons in a month, you will be charged the extra lesson with $40 automatically through our system.  


Please take note: 

 

- BEGINNER RIDERS WILL START WITH GROUP LUNGE LINE LESSON.

- All riders must wear an approved riding helmet.  If you do not have one, we can provide one for the first couple of lessons. But with time student should purchase their own helmets. 

- All riders must wear proper pants - jeans for western riding - and boots with 2" heels (no dress boots).

- Read our "What you need to get started site?"  here 

- All riders need to arrive at least 5-10 minutes before the start of their lesson to ensure they are ready in time for their lesson. Riders that arrive late will have that time deducted from their lesson.

- 24 hours cancellation notice is required for all lessons, otherwise lesson will be charged with no opportunity of rescheduled. Makeup lesson cannot be rescheduled again. 

In the event that the weather prevents riding- unmounted horsemanship lessons will be substituted at all time.
